Tiki Hut

In the Keys, celebrating the glorious sunset is an important ritual.  From our own lovely Tiki Hut on the Main Dock, it is tradition for owners, renters, and guests to gather to watch the sunset together and join in conversation.

The Main Dock is also a popular spot for fishing or swimming right off the swim ladder.

The Clubhouse

The clubhouse is the common meeting place for the community and is equipped with a bar, television, comfortable seating, and a lovely screened-in porch.  There are also picnic tables outside the clubhouse, as well as a gas barbecue grill available for use by residents of the Sanctuary.  Many sunset parties happen here.

Boating

All unit owners have an assigned slot in our well-equipped boatyard, which includes adequate space for boats and trailers that meet our size requirements. Maintenance staff is available during normal working hours to take boats from the boatyard and assist in their launching and retrieval at our boat basin. Boats must be pre-approved to be on the property, launched, or at the dock.

Our launching dock, the smaller of our two docks, is located on the southwest side of the property. It has a well-maintained concrete boat ramp, a “put-in” dock, and another dock perpendicular to the put-in dock.

Swimming Pool

The Sanctuary pool provides a welcome respite for a hot sunny day.  Whether for sunbathing or more active exercise or play, we ask that you follow the rules posted on the pool fence and ensure that children are supervised at all times.

Gym

The onsite gym referred to as “The Residence” is equipped with two treadmills, an elliptical trainer, a state-of-the-art weight machine, a bathroom and shower and satellite TV. Please use all equipment as directed. The Residence” is not supervised and you are exercising at your own risk.”

Kayak Launching Area

The Sanctuary has designated an area near the launching dock where owners and renters may temporarily leave their kayaks while they are actively using them. We also have a two-person canoe for the use of Sanctuary residents.

Tennis Court

There is a fine, hard court tennis court located on the northeast side of the main drive into The Sanctuary.  And, for aspiring Dwayne Wades and Kobe Bryants, there is a regulation basketball hoop at one end of the court.  Bicycles, roller skates, skate boards, and pets are not allowed on the tennis court.

Fishing

From the big gamefish of the deep sea to the backcountry options, the waters of Key Largo are teeming with some of the world’s most sought after fish.  Whether for sport or personal consumption, you can fish right off our docks and catch tasty grouper or yellowtail snapper which frequent our docks.  There is a fish cleaning station by the boat launch area allowing you to clean your fish and serve them on your table within minutes.  You don’t get a fresher catch.
